Pancakes!

It was wonderful to come home from work today and be greeted with a scent of fresh pancakes!

♥yummy♥

We had the practice for the graduation party today, and after that I went to pick up my suit and buy myself a graduation cap. The cap was the last one in the entire store, and luckily it was exactly the right size for me! Talk about a good luck, don't you think?

Oh yea, the press have finally caught up with the story about Tuuli's new music video being plagiarized from Kyary Pamuy Pamuy, and even the record label has admitted to that! The power of the press triumphs yet again..!

And as a sidenote, a pint of water with half of the juice of a lime squeezed into it tastes gooooooood~ ...!

As you can tell by my excitement, graduation day is slowly approaching, soon I can send my applications to the reserve-NCO-training course! And there's exactly a week to go until my vacation starts. That means only 4 working days left for me until we leave for Korea!

 Song of the Day
OK I really need to start making a list of the songs I've used in the blog thus far...
This is a great song by a great japanese guitarist, Miyavi.

Miyavi - Tom and Jerry (Tome to Jurii)

Short posts are fun to make, especially when you're tired!

"Popstar" in the making

Today I heard a song from the newest teenpop"star" from Finland. And I have to admit -- it was probably the worst autotune crap I've heard coming from Finland in ages!

Tuuli - Salaisuudet

Kinda reminds you of PONPONPON by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu doesn't it?

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - PONPONPON

While taking a closer look, it looks like the entire set of Tuuli's song was copied from PONPONPON, albeit minor changes had been made such as changing the color of the wall.
Too bad they didn't go all the way and change the pattern as well to make it a less obvious copy.

Moving on from the obvious copying of the set, I find it funny how 20-year-olds, with actual talent and skill, get turned down by record labels because they think that those people won't "fit the industry" because they "don't understand what it really takes to make it" and suddenly a 13-year-old girl is their newest star..what the fuck does a 13-year-old know about the industry or about how much work it really takes to make it?! I wonder what they have planned for this "future star"..prehaps a movie just like with Robin about "how much work it was to get that one hit single and a crappy album riding on that one song out"? What about a musical? The options are endless, and these teens are really just the cashcows of the music industry, they and their parents think they get the best possible contracts and other stuff, when in reality the labels try to pull off all the stops to make as much money in their own pocket as possible. When these teens reach puberty, all of their sheen will be gone because they've been overpromoted and overworked. Their voices will change, period. And what happens to them after that? The industry will just find some new teens with some looks and a decent voice that they can fix up with autotune to burn out and throw the old ones to trash. And then what? Only time will tell...

OK I'll just cut it here so I won't end up with a post filling an entire page. And I'll possibly continue with this tomorrow, but now I'm off to bed!

PONPONPON will be the Song of the Day for today since at this hour I can't bother with anything else, besides it's so weird that the chorus can, possibly, in some weird masochistic way get stuck in your head for quite some time.

Heatstroke♥

I didn't post yesterday because I had a heatstroke from hanging out in the sun the whole day with my friends in Kaisaniemi. Now it wasn't as bad as it sounds, I just had a major headache and my eyes hurt like hell, and even this morning I felt a bit sick. I did go to work though, and suprisingly managed to get a lot more done than usual! Wonder if that heatstroke had anything to do with that... Onto some other news, Style of the Day will, unfortunately, be on hold until saturday this week because I'm going to be really busy this week with my graduation party and other stuff.

Aside from working I met my friend Niu for a short while in the city center. I brought him the shoes he ordered through me from Yesstyle.com. Also while I was going home today, some little kids walked in front of me, and one of them bumped to oncoming people, THREE TIMES...IN A ROW, because she wasn't paying any attention at all to where she was going. I mean, c'mon, even if she was like 10 or something, she still should've paid more attention to where she was going and moreso after the first bump. But no, she decides to ignore everything that's in front of her and just walk into 2 more people. Now before you start thinking that "oh the other people could've just dodged her because they saw her walking towards them!", well, no, because they came from behind a corner and one of them even stopped just to avoid the collision because there was no room to move to the side (the corner is right next to a construction site). Oh well, to live and learn...

Oh yea, I got a text from the place I rented my suit from and they told me that the suit was ready to be picked up! And just because I don't want to wear the typical black suit to an event like that, I decided to break the monotonous tradition with a white suit, yes, you read correctly, a white suit. Now where's my tanning lotion...OK I really don't have one..wonder if I should get one though... I seriously need to get at least some color on my face to pull the suit off though, it won't look good if I'm too pale! Which reminds me..I still need to get me a graduation cap! I hope they're not all sold out since there are tens of thousands graduates around Finland..

Freebies

We just finished watching The Men Who Stare At Goats, and to be honest, it was almost as weird as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The plot made almost no sense and some of the acting was just bad, I mean, really bad. I thought it would be better but clearly I was wrong.

We went to Itis today because Sara wanted to eat at McDonald's for some reason, quite possibly because she had a terrible hangover this morning. I ended up getting only a coke and a McFlurry. Sara got herself a Big Mac meal and Vanessa got carrots! After that we went shopping for a short while and as usual, I didn't find anything for myself. I don't know, maybe I'm just too picky, but I simply can't find any good looking clothes in almost any of the stores in Finland! While we were there, there were some girls promoting a new protein yoghurt, and because it was almost 6pm (the time shops close on saturdays here) and because they had loads of the stuff left, they just started handing out 2-packs of the stuff. They gave me 3 2-packs, but Sara managed to get only 1 2-pack. Oh well, at least we won't have to buy that stuff for a few days!

While we were on our way home, we stopped by at a small playground near our house and the squirrels there got the shock of their life when Vanessa was unleashed on them.

Sara trying to catch Vanessa trying to catch a squirrel.

These pictures were taken with a 50mm f/1.8 prime, believe it or not. The squirrels weren't at all timid, and one of them almost climbed up my leg!

Omnomnom~

A good closeup!

Ah damn, I forgot about yesterdays SotD! My bad, you'll get it tomorrow, I promise.
Anyhow, todays Style of the Day:

Home "alone" and some more new stuff!

So Sara left with her friend to spend a girls night out, again. And I'm left here with Vanessa and Lumipallo, and a bottle of Tuborg Lime Cut. Vanessa just fell asleep half an hour ago and Lumipallo is just chilling in her cage. Ah yea, I also have a bottle of Dooley's waiting for me in the fridge!

To start with, Style of the Day won't happen today (I'll post todays style tomorrow again), but I've got other stuff to show you! I recently made an order from Yesstyle.com because Niu wanted to get a pair of shoes from there, and with me ordering on the side we got free express shipping on the stuff! I got myself a new belt, a new long sleeved t-shirt and finally a touch screen cleaner!

My new belt and a cute touch screen cleaner♥

Long sleved t-shirt with buttons on the side

This post will yet again be a short one. A thing worth mentioning though, is that I caught up on work a LOT today. If I manage to keep my motivation this high I'll be done with all my work by the end of next week!

Song of the Day
Some chillout music for this evening, best enjoyed with some beer.

Surprise!

I got the biggest surprise of the year today, when Sara told me that we were going to have a guest over for the weekend! I was thinking what on earth could it be, and when she came home, she brought with her a....BUNNY! But sadly it's not ours...

Bunnybunbun!

Sara's mom wanted to get a bunny, and there were only 3 left in the pet shop so they didn't want to risk missing getting one during the weekend, so they bought it today and she's spending the weekend at our house! Sara also got to decide the name, and she calls her Lumipallo! (It means Snowball in english)

If the surprise would've been a dog I would've been mortified. I dislike dogs more than spiders. I'm more of a cat person, and to be honest, if it were a dog, I would've never allowed it. Apologies to the dog-lovers reading this.

Since it's so late already I'll skip the usual BS and jump straight to the Style of the Day.

Bad quality yet again, apologies.
Lumipallo's staring at me!

Again nothing special, didn't use any products today since I showered so late last night I didn't want to wash my hair as well.

Time for some exercise!

Now I don't have to go to the gym anymore! I got myself a sit-up bench!
And it only cost me 39,95e from Anttila!

Now that I'm done celebrating, my workload keeps on increasing at work, even though I did work hard today, I got more new stuff to do than what I got done, and it's depressing! Oh well, I've still got 9 work days left to get the stuff done before my vacation, hope I can make it.. And although I work hard, I still save some time in the morning (an hour or so usually, don't ask me why!) for breakfast at work!

♥ED + 3 croissants♥

In other news, the road next to my work place seems to be on the verge of collapsing:
"Beware, danger of collapse!"

Yes, there is a real hole in the middle of that sinkhole. I wonder when that's going to get fixed.. Too bad for those who came to work with a car and parked it right next to that!

Now, I'm actually getting a bit excited about our upcoming trip now that I started looking for the best exchange rates from euro to korean won. Unfortunately I've already taken the cash from my account, and I found out that the company with the best possible rate has those rates only online, where you have to make the transaction from your bank account and they then either mail it as an insured package or deliver it to any of their offices. So now I'm stuck with either going for the best rate and going to my bank and depositing the cash and then do the online exchange, or get the second best which is far from the service of this one. Since this company even gives you a chance to pay 5e to them along with the exchange service and with that you can get your money exchanged from krw (or any other currency which you have exchanged with them) back to eur with the same rate as you got with when you exchanged from eur to krw, and with no additional costs!

Anyhow, I don't want to bother you too much this evening and I've still some sit-ups to do so let's move on to the Style of the Day:

Messed up hair from the wind and sweating from carrying that 11kg package behind me for 2.5km.

Hairstyle of the Day:

This messed up-look, for some reason unknown to me, actually worked out for once! Usually I end up looking more like a scarecrow than someone with styled hair, so this was a pleasant surprise, all the way until the wind picked up and messed it all up!

Song of the Day:

Some retouching

I'm not sure if you have noticed it thus far, but most of the pictures (at least the ones taken with the 600D) don't end up here exactly straight from the camera. Sometimes they go through some quite heavy retouching to bring out the colors or to tune down the exposure a bit, so I thought that I'd show you 2 pictures that were taken today, both as original and retouched, so here we go!

I use CyberLink PhotoDirector 2011 and sometimes Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.7 as my retouching programs. I got the CLPD from a photography magazine which I bought for around 10e. The program itself is worth around 80e but luckily I got it as a gift with the magazine!

As you can see, I didn't go with a goal to make the pictures look too realistic.
The yellow tint comes from changing the temperature of the picture. I'll go a bit more into detail with the changes once we get to the picture. Other than that, both pictures have 90% of the same retouches, but the temperature has been lowered a bit on the upper picture, since it didn't look good at all with the same temperature setting as the lower one.

This one was quite fast to do, since I spent most of my time with the lower one, and just copypasted the settings from that to this one, with the exception of lowering the temperature to make it a bit more natural looking.

Here are the details of the retouch:

Lens used:
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II kit lens

This one took me almost 1½ hours to finish, since I wanted the background to have slightly different sharpness and color settings than me, and believe me when I say that the process of selecting the entire background as close to the edges of me as possible takes some time, at least with the program that I use. With this one I was never after a result which would end up in the picture looking natural, because at least to my eye it looks better like this. Then again, that's just my opinion, you give me yours so I can learn from it!

Here are the details of the retouch:
Background:

Foreground:

Lens used:
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

This wasn't the style of the day though, since I don't think that the shirt would be appropriate at the place I work in. So now let's move on to the Style of the Day!

These pictures were, unfortunately, taken with my phone again, so apologies for the bad quality!
No hoodie this time since I knew it would get hot during the day.

I really need to change those jeans, been using them for too many days in a row now!
Necklace: Yesstyle.com
Long sleeved t-shirt: JC
Jeans: Yesstyle.com
Shoes: Anttila
Bag: Nelly.com

Hairstyle of the Day:
Again with a smudge over my eye! Someone really needs to clean those mirrors..

Nothing too special, this time I used just some hair powder and hairspray.
Funny how it looks like my hair has highlights in them..

Here's a picture of my "breakfast" at the office for you as well!

..and some wannabe photography!

Also for those interested, here's a bad quality shot from the Ed Hardy t-shirt from the front! (I really need to remember to set the shutter speed to a faster setting when Sara's taking the pictures..)

Song of the Day:
This one is also a song which Sara almost forced me to listen once, it is a good song though!

MBLAQ - Mona Lisa

Now I'm going to hit the shower and possibly play some Diablo 3 after! I'm at Diablo now on nightmare, he's tough as hell but hopefully I can manage it soon!

Graduating, finally!

So, the results for the matriculation exams for the new graduates were published a few days ago, I've already completed my exams a few years ago but I was 5 courses short from graduating. This summer I'm finally graduating, 2 years after I was intially supposed to graduate, and today I received the invite to the school that every graduate receives to go practice for the festivities for when we finally graduate. This makes me eligible to start studies and pursue a bachelor's degree if I want to, and oh boy do I ever! Now I'm only an NCO training away from becoming eligible to apply to the National Defense University in Santahamina!

This morning I had set my mind to a goal, that I'd work my ass off the entire day for a change. Well..that wasn't really what ended up happening.. I worked for like 3 hours or so and the rest of the day I just surfed the net and wrote the rant from this morning. Oh well, I guess I'll have to step it up a notch tomorrow. Since I only have exactly 2 weeks of work left before I start my summer vacation, and I want to have everything done by then, so that when I come back from the two-week vacation there's not too much work piled up on my desk!

Now, Style of the Day:
It was quite warm during the day so I ended up taking my hoodie off.

Necklace: Yesstyle.com
Shirt: JC
Belt: - (From Rome, Italy)
Jeans: Jack & Jones
Shoes: - (Grey ones from Yesstyle.com)

Hairstyle of the Day:
Today I didn't do anything but apply about 0.5cm of molding paste to my hair, I'm quite impressed by the natural look this time, usually it fails miserably.

Love the smudge right over my right eye..

Song of the Day:

I blame Sara for this one, she got me listening to this when she told me that Vanessa likes it..!

I've done all my chores for today, done the dishes, cleaned the stove, fed Vanessa supper, and now it's my turn to relax with a good dose of Diablo 3!
Until tomorrow, my dear readers..fighting!

Summer has also now officially arrived! (a short rant)

This morning was quite shocking to me. I was on my way to work when some girl, around 15-17 years old jumped on the bus. She was wearing a really tight, see-through tank top, some baseball jacket and a pair of minishorts barely keeping her privates hidden! This got me wondering, what the hell has happened to the youth? When did they start idolizing and wearing clothes that revealed 90% of their body? Is it because they enjoy the attention they're getting from everyone (the good and the bad)? And most importantly, what the hell are the parents of these kids thinking, letting them go to school dressed like that?!

This revealing clothes trend has grown exponentially among youth over the last few decades. When I was a kid 10 years ago, 12 to 16-year-old girls dressed in tank tops and (short) shorts. These days they go for see-through tops and mini, or even micro shorts! Now I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but personally I think that this is the single most influential reason to this; popstars and pop-culture. We see these huge celebrities on red carpets with v-necklines that go to the ground and below with no bras and have belts covering their private parts, we see them in music videos with clothes that cover just enough to keep the strategic areas hidden, and guess what? The youth looks up to these people and want to look like them! I've overheard so many discussions among these teens about how they don't like their appearance and body after seeing skinny models on the covers of fashion magazines and to me, that's scary. A 13-year-old shouldn't have the pressure of the young society on them about how they look. They should be wearing whatever they feel comfortable in, without that pressure forcing them to "feel comfortable" in whatever the current fashion trend is. I bet you'd still wear those bright neon colored loose pants and shirts from the 80's if Vogue or some other high-end fashion magazine told you that it was the current trend and everyone around you had already accepted it as the truth and already wore those clothes. Today the colors haven't changed, the size of the clothes on the other hand has shrunk.

Not to mention that these teens even take pictures of themselves in that revealing clothing, suggestive poses and other kind of batshit insane stuff, and most of them even think that they can just get the pictures off the internet when they delete that picture from their irc-galleria or any other picture gallery folder! When the truth is that it has most likely already been spread to at least a dozen of websites with threads collecting pictures about teens in suggestive poses or with barely any clothes on. What you upload to the internet, stays in the internet. Remember that the next time you're thinking of uploading a portrait picture of yourself giving a BJ to a banana facing away from a mirror revealing you wearing a g-string and no bras! (yes, I've seen a picture like that ages ago)

Micro shorts

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against see-through tops nor minishorts (show me a guy who has!), but as long as they're worn with at least some sense of good taste instead of looking just cheap.

You make your own call! Which of these do you think looks better?

This:

This:

Or this?:

Something tells me that 99.99% of the viewers would lean towards option #1 or 2 (the upper ones), but there is of course that miniscule 0.01% that would wear the lowest ones if they had the chance.

Now I can understand revealing clothing worn in a holiday resort or on a beach for example where it's really hot and it would be really uncomfortable to wear something like black jeans, or any kinds of jeans at all, in the middle of the day, but this is Finland, not South Beach, Florida! ..I feel a bit old when I'm ranting about something like this, but then again I don't think clothes that reveal as much as in the lowest picture even belong in a city center, where the closest real beach is kilometers away, and I bet every single one of you can agree with me on this one.

Ladies, you CAN look stylish and sexy without revealing most of your body in the middle of the city center.

Over and out.
(at least until I can come up with something more to write about on this)

sunnuntai 20. toukokuuta 2012

A "few" new movies

Finland didn't win any medals after all, what a shame.. But enough with the hockey talk for this year!

I've been spending quite a lot of money on movies recently, due to there being a nice sale going on at Anttila right now. Right now we have 9 new movies which we bought within 3 days and haven't managed to watch any of them so far!

Mamma Mia! The Movie, Hitman Extended Edition, The Last King of Scotland, Blade II, The Devil Wears Prada, V for Vendetta, The Men Who Stare at Goats, Bride Wars, The Three Musketeers.

We went to Itäkeskus today with Sara and Vanessa and I ended up buying 4 new movies because they were so cheap! I was also supposed to search for a red bandana (something like this) for myself but I forgot it for some reason.. Now Sara's playing Sims 3 next to me and we have Slovakia - Russia finals on TV, and I'd be playing D3 right now if it weren't for the damn servers being offline due to some weird maintenance and other issues...

Style of the Day for today was focused around the color red, as you can see in the picture. I didn't bother with my hair today so I just went with a cap instead, and that scarf is somewhat inspired by G-Dragon, but it's too big unfortunately, thus the search for bandanas.

Me with a picture of my grandparents in the background.

Now I'm off to watch the finals and change channels to Fox at 22.00 when The Walking Dead starts!

Crushing dreams

This day has been a really slow one. We've been inside the entire day, so this time there won't be a Style of the Day.

So, Russia just crushed Finland in the semifinals, thus crushing the finnish dream of becoming the first host country team in ages to win gold in the WC. After that disappointment I've just been on the PC and playing around a bit with Vanessa. We just ate some pizza as well because we didn't bother cooking anything, so you could just call this the most laziest day of the month thus far..

Yummy pizza, Pepsi and D3!

I've also progressed a bit in D3; I just started act 3 on nightmare a while ago, and I'll probably play through the rest of nightmare tonight unless I get stuck on a boss for a few hours like I did with the last boss of act 2..

But now, onto yesterdays Style of the Day!
It looked like it would rain so I had my beanie with me in the morning, but I decided to take it off when I left work because it was starting to get slightly sunny. Now I don't know why, but sometimes I feel really uncomfortable going outside without either having my hair styled or with a beanie/cap on. I don't know what causes it, but I hope I could get rid of it soon so my hair would get the chance to heal up from all the damage caused by hair products...

P.s. Online shopping is fun!

A really, really late update

So, I did miss one day unfortunately! Diablo 3 is taking up all my focus.....

I had a nice day at work and I bought V for Vendetta and The Three Musketeers from Anttila today for 15e! We were supposed to watch one of those today but then Sara remembered that she hasn't played Sims 3 in ages, so she started playing and I started playing and soon it was 23:30 already! I can't wait for tomorrow though, Finland - Russia..let's give our eastern neighbours a warm welcome and send them to the bronze game shall we?

Style of the Day picture will come tomorrow as my cell phone cord is in the bedroom and Sara is sleeping already..

Now I'm back off to play Diablo 3, I've almost passed Act I on nightmare. I would be further by now but I decided to level a new character with a friend of mine since he didn't want to play alone...

torstai 17. toukokuuta 2012

The busy few days

So the last few days as you can see have been quite busy. I've already passed D3 in normal mode and I'll soon start with nightmare. Today my mom came to visit us. It's been ages since the last time she was here, so to be honest I was kinda glad that she came. We made some preliminary plans about my possible graduation party in a few weeks, even though I don't like these formal types of celebration that much.. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I got myself a new credit card yesterday because my old card was in such a bad shape even though it was supposed to last 9 more months... She also brought me a few photography magazines in case I wanted to read them!

Also my allergy symptoms have gotten worse with my eyes again, the eyedrops don't seem to help one bit and it's really annoying to feel like you need to scratch your eyes constantly to get all the "stuff that's not supposed to be there" out. Thank god a hot shower and the damp air from the shower helped with that a bit. Other than my moms visit today we haven't gone outside due to the bad weather, it's been raining for at least the past 2 hours or so, thus todays style is comfortable-casual.

Onto the Styles of the Day:

More D3!

It's been a great day! I've been playing Diablo 3 with my friend Nea for the past 3 hours or so! Considering that I'm still playing, I'll keep it short. I've gone through almost 2 packages of tissues today due to this damn allergy and it's not easing up! Not to mention that it feels like I have something stuck in my left nostril and it won't come out no matter what so I keep sneezing constantly.... I've been too busy doing everything else than focusing on the blog today due to this damn allergy that I don't have any pictures from yesterdays OR todays style..so those'll have to wait until tomorrow unfortunately. It'll be a 3-style day then since it's a national holiday here!

Anyhow, I'm off to continue playing D3 and I'll see you tomorrow, again, apologies for the lack of pictures!

tiistai 15. toukokuuta 2012

Swimming!

So yeah, we went swimming today with Sara and Vanessa. They were in the kids pool and I swam a few laps on the 25m track the place has and also hanged out with Sara and Vanessa in the kids pool. I can't remember the last time I was swimming, but the reason why I haven't been swimming for a long time are slowly creeping up on me..my left ear is hurting like hell!
It's also quite a miracle that I managed to drag myself swimming considering that I didn't sleep at all last night due to D3 release..! I almost fell asleep in the sauna because I was that tired!

Unfortunately, due to the abovementioned reason, Style of the Day will be postponed for tomorrow, I'm too comfortable in my casual clothes to put those other clothes on again. So, tomorrow I'll post both tomorrows style AND I'll update todays style on this post! I'm really sorry for this, but this is just the way it goes sometimes; personal comfort comes first.

Song of the Day on the other hand, will still happen. This time SHINee is on the list with their song Sherlock. The music is good although the singing resembles Michael Jackson (r.i.p) a bit too much for my liking in some parts in the beginning. Anyway, here you go!

SHINee - Sherlock

Now I'm off to play Diablo III!

maanantai 14. toukokuuta 2012

D3 release!

The hell is soon upon us, as Diablo 3 will see the light of day at 00.01 CEST. I'll be there the second the servers come up even though I have work tomorrow! My trusty old energy drink, ED will accompany me through the night, just as it did during the Super Bowl this year. I'm trying to get a friend of mine to play with me through the night but she's hesitant to stay up because she also has work tomorrow.. I'll maybe do a review of the game as I progress during the night, but we'll just have to wait and see if I can bother with it.

I almost slept too long this morning, thank god I did manage to pull myself out of bed though, so I managed to catch the bus I take to get to work at 7am. I really dislike going to work at 8 just because then I'd get to leave from work at 4pm.. I'd rather wake up early and get to go home early than wake up late and get to go home late.. After I left work I decided to indulge myself yet again and bought me some chocolate-chip muffins to ease my sweet tooth.

Omnomnom~ My delicious muffins and some milk!

Oh yeah, I ordered myself a new belt and long sleeved t-shirt when Niu asked me to order a pair of shoes for him from Yesstyle.com. They'll most likely be here at the end of the month, but as long as they get here before our trip it's alright!

Now, on to the Style of the Day! I went for a light look today since I knew it was going to be quite warm during the day when I get home. And again a Taeyang-inspired hairstyle! Apologies for the poor quality yet again, the camera's autofocus decided to play tricks on me...

Me, my bottle collection and my snacks!

(The grey ones, I took this photo a few minutes ago and didn't bother putting them on since my socks have almost the same color so they mimic the style well enough)

Song of the Day

There are 2 songs for today actually! The first one is an awesome new song from a great finnish rap artist, Paleface, and the second one is an older 2NE1 song, which was the first song ever that introduced me to the magnificent world of K-pop!

Paleface - Miten Historiaa Luetaan

2NE1 - Fire (Space)

And with these words, I leave you and start the wait for when the D3 servers finally come up worldwide in just a few hours!

Running time

Nothing special happened today, we stayed home the entire day even though it was sunny outside. And as you can see, Sara didn't go visit her mom after all, so my plans didn't really work out either.. I ended up vacuuming the entire house and I didn't even get to eat the pizza and pepsi during the game when Sara decided to make food! It did taste good though so I can't complain, other than the first bite of the steak which tasted of nothing but pepper, it was absolutely disgusting and it burned like hell!

Sara likes to eat a lot healthier than me as you can see..

Now we just finished watching Mythbusters and I've decided to force myself to start running again, so I'm off to a quick 3km run to train my cooper-test and to sustain my current condition. After the run I'll reward myself with that pizza I was supposed to eat during the match and watch The Walking Dead from Fox with Sara.

Style of the Day:

I really don't have one for today since we just stayed at home, but I guess you could count my training clothes! A few friends of mine said that I look like a walking "caution"-sign with these on but I don't care! At least people notice me even in the dark!
Song of the Day:
I think most of you will dislike this one but this is the one for today since this is a good training song, really keeps up the fighting spirit, so to say! Or sisu as we would call it in Finland.

Five Finger Death Punch - Under And Over It
